Meet Kayla

I came into makeup through a deep love for art, transformation, and human connection. My background is rooted in love for visual replication — seeing something that moves me and feeling an almost instinctive need to recreate it. This shows up in the way I approach skin, texture, and structure. I’m drawn to makeup that feels alive where every look is shaped by the emotion, the space, and the person in front of me. My work spans editorial, red carpet, special effects, theater, and bridal. Whether I’m creating a subtle radiance or building a full character from scratch, I aim to make people feel seen, powerful, and connected to themselves. I’ve worked with brands, photographers, and directors to bring a shared vision to life—and I believe the most impactful makeup comes from listening closely and honoring what each moment calls for. I'm currently based in Chicago and am building a values-driven studio that focuses on sustainability, intention, and creative integrity. At the center of it all, I believe makeup is more than aesthetic—it's a sanctuary, a transformation, and a way to hold space.
